About The Job

BRON is a worldwide media and entertainment company committed to furthering the art and craft of meaningful commercial storytelling. Focused on the strategic development, production and financing of original live-action and animated features, television and digital media content, BRON has been instrumental in more than 90 productions and has built a robust slate of upcoming projects across all platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the ideal candidate will oversee the administration of our Studio located in Burnaby. This is a full-time, permanent position working at our Burnaby Studio.

Requirements
  • Attend to general administrative needs
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Arrange courier and miscellaneous deliveries and pickups
  • Cover the reception area
  • Receive visitors to the studio
  • Order office supplies and maintain stock
  • Help and ensure COVID-19 policy is followed and enforced as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational maintenance of the studio
  • Purchasing of studio needs (i.e. office supplies, craft service, etc.)
  • Assist with organization of internal studio events (i.e. set-up and takedown of studio functions)
  • Assist Head of Operation with organization of Film Festivals, Industry parties, and corporate event
  • Assemble and/or disassemble furniture and equipment as needed, including furniture acquisition and physical moves of desks and equipment
  • Perform miscellaneous pickups and deliveries
  • Act as back-up to Production Assistant as needed on-site or on-set
  • Support Live-Action & Animation production & Studio Operations as needed
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Office Assistant
  • Proactive and highly motivated
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Critical judgment
  • Maintains a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Highly organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Mac OS and Windows platforms is an asset
  • Service-oriented - enjoys facilitating and supporting others
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle for periodic pick-ups of supplies
  • Available to work evenings during crunch times on productions and the occasional weekend shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
