As a Talent Acquisition Operations Associate, you are the first impression of the Recruitment Process.

You are a service minded operations specialist who is driven to provide best in class support to the Talent Acquisition team together with the overall HR Department and Business.

You are ready to execute on recruitment initiatives, reporting, dashboards, service models, utilizing technology and various platforms to get results.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition and work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition Business Partner’s to achieve desired results for the team and organization. You will support the day to day activities for the Recruitment Workflow and participate in ad-hoc responsibilities and projects.

Your scope of work will include:
  • Working with the Talent Acquisition team to manage an efficient and effective team and providing superior administrative and operational support
  • You will help manage deliverables, coordinate key meetings and assist with TA projects and events.
  • Acting as an internal and external facing liaison between hiring managers, TABPs, and candidates.
  • Providing ad-hoc assistance with hiring specific work activities as required
  • Providing additional ad-hoc assistance to general organizational hiring needs as time permits.
  • Reporting: you’ll use our Recruitment Report and ATS to generate the right report for the right teams with the right metrics
  • Responsibility of tracking and reporting on recruitment activities and statistics and/or reporting
  • ATS Administration including entering requisitions and positions.
  • Posting positions on the Interac Career Site, LinkedIn and additional job boards as required
  • Establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders to build and support recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborating with teams to deeply understand their hiring needs for the short and long term.
  • Efficiently scheduling interviews for Hiring Managers, candidates and TABPs
  • Building a pipeline of candidates through proactive efforts; Networking Events, and/or through D&I Initiatives (TBD)
  • Complete Candidate Screens when sourcing candidates (TBD)
  • Representing Interac and our core values throughout the recruitment lifecyle, creating a positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Staying up to date with market trends, recruitment and employment landscape within the FinTech industry
  • Partnering with external agencies/vendors when necessary.
  • Partnering with the HR services team on departmental objectives and ad-hoc projects.
  • Executing operational excellence for the TA team under minimal supervision

What You Bring…
  • A Bachelors Degree or College Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel PowerPoint.
  • The ability to manage multiple schedules at once with effective prioritization
  • You leverage technology comfortably and can utilize social media platforms as go-to tools on a regular basis.
  • Pride in being an ambassador of the organization, representing Interac values.
  • Curiousity and enthusiasm on being up to speed on recruitment trends and best practices.
  • You thrive and are energized in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
  • You have great communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships with peers and in general.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment while being able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and business matters.
  • You are an analytical thinker with creative problem-solving abilities
  • You are proactive and take initiative to make decisions, identify and recommend improvements in your job function, research and/or investigate issues requiring resolution to execute on assigned tasks.
  • You have extremely strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and problem resolution skills, with desire to work in a rigorous environment of rapid growth.
  • You demonstrate a positive, professional demeanor and a passion and interest in Interac.
