Canada’s transportation team brings together more than 80 employees at all levels and participates in large-scale projects such as the REM, the Champlain Bridge, the reconstruction of major axes of the strategic network of the region of Capitale-Nationale (Autoroutes Félix-Leclerc, Charest, Henri-IV) and the Route 389 improvement program on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and other clients.

Among our team, there are several senior engineers and technicians to provide technical support to the youngest or to share knowledge.

We are currently looking for a road engineer to support the growth of the team already in place. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on the most stimulating multidisciplinary projects across Canada. The person can be based anywhere in Quebec! We have offices in Montreal, Longueuil, Laval, Quebec, Rimouski, Abitibi. It is also possible to work remotely.

What will your contribution to the team be?

The road engineer will be able to participate in our road and highway projects:

• Prepare plans for road design projects;
• Prepare quantities for road design projects;
• Responsible for the design (AutoCAD and/or InRoads) based on preliminary concepts, quotes and calculations;
• Check the drawings and plans to ensure their accuracy with the specifications;
• Act as project manager on certain projects;
• Participate in the preparation of the submission of plans and specifications.
  

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering;
• Relevant experience of at least 5 years in road engineering;
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
• Knowledge of standards and practices for the design of road projects in Canada
• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines involved in projects (electricity, traffic maintenance, hydraulics, utilities and others);
• Mastery of InRoads, Microstation and AutoCAD software;
• Having already worked on projects of the Ministry of Transport of Quebec;
• Fluency in French (spoken and written).
