You would be responsible for developing production/supply plans that take into account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity. We would rely on you to identify and maintain the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans.We will set you up for success through on-the-job training with more senior team members. You will be successful by driving incremental and step-function improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP).   • Determine and execute daily production plan by scheduling production, assigning resources and ensuring required material is on hand
  • Assist in the execution of Kanban processes.
  • Execute OTD (On Time Delivery) and Past Due analysis daily
  • Plan Finished Goods stock levels and maintenance of daily Hot List
  • Regular Involvement in coordinating Production throughout the Engineering change process (EN’s)
  • Establish and maintain daily production schedules with the capacity tool
  • Monitor and update of daily planning performance metrics
  • Expedite of materials with Purchasing to meet Production objectives
Requirements
  • Diploma in Supply Chain or related field with a minimum of 1 year experience in Production Planning required
  • Experience working with an ERP system required (i.e., LN, BAAN, SAP)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
