The Production Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Production Planning Manager. The Production Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the Production Planning Manager to ensure all cannabis material is tracked, documented and ensure all inventory is accurate.

This role is instrumental in supporting the Production facility and its processes as the business grows. A continuous improvement process driven mindset, the ability to analyze and make data driven decisions are critical skill sets to be successful in this role. Previous raw material, inventory control, production order monitoring, Inventory management and vendor relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position.

The Production Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Production Planning Manager or designate and will no direct reports. In the event of absence, the Production Planning Manager will provide coverage.

Job Duties

· Grades/sorts cannabis material – big, medium, small buds

• Palletize shipments accurately and timely
• Verify accuracy of packing slips and BOLs to POs
• Verify compliance of load to regulatory & provincial requirements
• Inspect incoming materials and verify against packing slips
• Receive incoming materials in Ample system
• Label all materials with approved label.
• Inventory task responsibilities as required
• Create waybills for courier shipments
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiar with shipping, receiving, and tracking using ERP system considered an asset
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a shipping/logistics role
• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management
• Must have strong time management skills and attention to detail with emphasis on meeting deadlines
• Able and willing to work in a fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to meet changing needs and demands
• Highly energetic and assertive with strong leadership skills
• Excellent, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Work with a sense of urgency and capable of multi-tasking
• Able to work well in a team environment

Requirements

• Minimum of a College Diploma
• 2+ years Logistics, warehousing, and inventory control experience
• 2+ years of Warehouse and Distribution experience
• 2+ years of cannabis experience
• 2+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups
• Online shipping, tracking, and receiving experience utilizing FedEx, UPS, Purolator and DHL
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
• Must be able to work in a start-up environment and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Work Conditions

This role requires a company-provided uniform and additional Personal Protective Equipment to be worn at all times

• Moderate to heavy physical effort
• Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.
• May be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes and oils
• Overtime as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
