Capital Fine Meats is a family owned and operated business in Edmonton, Alberta since 1929. We are a federally regulated facility, and pride ourselves on providing fresh, high quality meats across Western Canada.

We are currently seeking Meat Packers in our RTE (Ready to Eat) and Bacon Departments.

Experience in food manufacturing plant is considered an asset, but willing to train the right individual. Must be available to work Monday - Friday (40/hrs per week). Daily overtime is available and may be required based on daily production schedules.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Prepare and slice bacon as per production specs and customer order(s)

· Packing and labelling of raw materials/product into vacuum bags and boxes

· Palletizing inventory

· Enforce and maintain all Food Safety Requirements and Safe Work Practices

· Help maximize production flow efficiencies while minimizing downtime

· Other general Labourer duties as required

Other Information:

This position requires you to be physically fit, with the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lb. Must be tolerant of cool temperatures (industrial meat plant) and able to speak/read/write English.

Shift: 6:00AM – 2:30PM (Monday to Friday)
Rate: Starting from $15.00
