As theGroup Events Intern/Short-Term Employee, your primary focus will be to assist in planning both corporate and social events for groups of 25 for more for multiple locations

What you will do in this role:

● Respond to intake inquiries (reservations of 25 or more) to ensure all opportunities are captured quickly & efficiently

● Event sales tracking

● Provide top notch service to guests when planning their events

● Work collaboratively with Landing team members

● Follow up with key contacts post event

● Work with the Group Sales Manager on proper systems training & processes to ensure all opportunities are maximized

● Learn all areas of event management to strengthen your skills

● Assist in social media strategy

What we are looking for from you:

● Enrolled in an Events Management program at a local college or university or a recent graduate from an Events Management program

● Energetic, self-starter and team player

● Excellent communication, social and organizational skills

● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

● Possess a passion for events
