The role of the Filed Agent - Kitchener is a vital position within the company. You will be responsible for creating a clean and orderly environment for our arriving guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation. On top of this, setting up the units to become homes in each new property before marketing photos are taken.

What You’ll Do

  • Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as laundry, making beds, sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing the vacation rental units, after guest checks out, according to the work schedule provided
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate (ex. toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc.)
  • Perform delivery of items for guests in house as requested during scheduled hours
  • Inspects the property for damage and reports it to the Guest Experience team and Head of Canadian Operations in a timely manner
  • Ensures company quality standards are met while completing digital cleaning checklists
  • Physically be on location to oversee set-up and all tasks related to new unit launching and design execution
  • Setting up the rooms in each new property before it launches - this may include assembling furniture, decorating, setting the table with proper plates and flatware and glasses, setting up the beds with accent pillows, ensuring all decorations and accents are in place to maximize the look of the photos
  • Periodically travelling to stores to pick-up required items for set-up/ staging (including décor items, artificial plants, bedding, flatware, small kitchen appliances, place mats, decorative pillows, etc.)
  • Other duties as per requested

What You’ll Bring

  • Prior experience as Residential Cleaner or Housekeeper, preferably in our industry (hotels, Airbnb, short-term rental).
  • Familiarity with PMS system (Guesty, Breezeway preferred) and internal communicator software, Slack.
  • Available to work flexible shifts days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Own a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence. Gas allowance available based on the project assigned.
  • Fluent in both written and oral English.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Working quickly without compromising quality
