MacDonald & Spicer Notaries is a busy notary office in Mission, BC. We are looking for a conveyancer to cover a maternity leave, working Monday through Friday, May 2024-January 2026, starting immediately.

Responsibilities Include:

· Providing excellent customer service in person, by phone, and by email.

· Scheduling and managing appointments for clients & the notary.

· Completing sale, purchase, and refinance files.

· Other clerical duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Grade 12 education, or higher.

· Experience in real estate conveyancing.

· Friendly and professional demeanor.

· Excellent ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

We have a small, close knit office staff of 5 people, so are looking for someone who is self-motivated, positive, and wanting to be part of a good team.

*THIS IS A 18 MONTH MATERNITY LEAVE COVERAGE. WHILE THERE MAY BE THE POSSIBILITY OF FURTHER EMPLOYMENT, THIS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED CURRENTLY.*

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Education:

• Secondary School (required)

Experience:

• Conveyancing: 1 year (required)
