CompuVision is currently looking for a Compliance Analyst to be responsible for ensuring consistency of client systems by establishing, implementing, and maintaining technology best-practice standards and procedures.

The Compliance Analyst is also responsible for proactively investigating and assessing client environments to align with existing technology processes and standards as outlined by CompuVision. This position will work in collaboration with the client Strategy team to address any gaps in technology and service to work towards remediation opportunities and client success.

What you’ll do

  • Perform regular audits and reviews of the following for a dedicated book of clients:
    • AD / Azure AD user accounts and access
    • AD / Azure AD security groups and distribution lists
    • File server sharing and NTFS permissions
    • Server roles, configurations and best practices
    • Network topology, configurations and best practices
    • Onsite surveys of equipment installations, cabling and cleanup
    • Reviews of applications, support entitlements and expirations
    • Asset tracking and reporting
    • System integrations such as A/V, RMM agents
    • OS patching and builds
    • Backups and offsites
  • Continually align client infrastructure and configurations with CompuVision best-practices and standards.
  • Analyze and improve upon our technology standards and best-practices to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market.
  • Maintenance of documentation for client computer systems and network infrastructure.
  • Assess and communicate risks identified through the audit and review processes performed.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate departments to develop action plans which support both customer needs and meet objectives within our support model.
  • Act as client support or escalation service on an as needed basis.
  • Improve standardized processes such as user account creations, changes, and terminations to meet the needs of individual clients.
  • Support and educate all departments within CompuVision to better understand our technology compliance standards and their purpose.

What you already have

  • Degree or Diploma in relevant field or at least 3+ years direct experience in building and maintaining server and network environments.
  • Asset: Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSE or MCITP, VMware VCP, Fortinet FCNSA or Cisco CCNA.
  • Experience with Active directory, Office 365 user administration, Azure AD Connect.
  • Familiarity with security best practices such as least privilege, password policies and MFA.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to changes quickly and follow directions well.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Strong organizational, time management, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
  • Commitment to company values.
  • Asset: relevant IT experience fully supporting and building SMB environments.
  • Asset: possess a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and appropriate business-class insurance.
