Co-op, Reliability Engineering - (Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada)

Reports to Reliability Manager.

This is an 8-month Co-op that begins in January 2022.

What you will do:

  • Assist the department with various duties, including:
    • Contributing to Reliability Initiatives including lubrication contamination control, asset strategy evaluation, and other assorted Management of Change (MOC) projects
    • Conduct failure investigations and present Root Cause Analysis findings
    • Develop Scopes of Work/Standard Procedures and assist execution supervisors as required

What you will bring:

  • Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.
  • Demonstrate positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
  • Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
  • Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several competing and complex priorities
  • Alignment with Nutrien’s purpose and values
  • Preference will be given to candidates with mining or heavy industrial experience
