We are working with an established building materials distribution business to identify a strong BRANCH MANAGERlocated in Hope, British Columbia. With experience managing a team and developing operational systems and processes this individual will have a strong skill set in increasing profitiability in the branch. This Branch operates as its own business within the wider group, developing and driving its individual culture built on the foundation of honest work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a community presence supporting a family-oriented work atmosphere.

Job Summary

The Branch Manager directs and coordinates activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution and managing the day to day operations of the branch itself. Tasks are performed with the intention of improving operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by performing the following (but not limited) duties;

Responsibilities;

• Creating financial targets to drive and deliver business efficiency whilst also bringing together teams and developing KPI’s to keep teams informed and on track.
• Works directly with the C-Level team on developing annual financial reports and budets for profit developments
• Particiaptes and enhances the marketing programs for the branch to create further branding techniques with the marketing team
• Manages, communicates, develops and recruits teams and individuals to build strong cultural and cohesive team environment
• Focuses on developing strong relationships with all customers, clients and building professionals in the area
• Reviews and maintains required documents for safety, security and quality processes.
• Proficiently uses technologies including distribution and office software.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Branch or Store Manager ideally in a building materials/distribution business.
• Strong work ethic with an entreprenreurial energy
• Great communication skills
