Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic video professional that can adapt alongside the seasonal nature of our business. This person will provide video setup and streaming support for our in-field videographers (via phone or chat system), monitor live streams, edit recital videos (later in the season), setup virtual events (as applicable), ensure in-field team uploads media following each event, and prepare video files for backup.

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Degree in media production or similar
• Must be available to work Thurs-Mon January through May, either 7am-3:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm
• Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Experience with setting up cameras (we are looking for someone who can deliver step-by-step video setup support via phone or chat)
• Adept at running live streams
• Comfortable using PCs (required), Microsoft Office, Teams, Planner and To-Do (assets)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and Media Encoder, required
• Familiar with TeamViewer or similar remote desktop program
• Experience recording line feeds to audio recorders
• Able to communicate instructions clearly (both written and verbal)
• Detail oriented with strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Takes initiative, and meets deadlines

Additional Information

Term and Shift Times: Mid March– May (potential extension through July). Shifts would run Wed– Sun, either 7AM – 3:30 PM or 3:00PM – 11:30 PM. Come May/June shifts would change to Mon – Fri, 9:00AM – 5:30 PM.

Compensation -Between $720 - $800 / Week
