We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Applied AI team and help take Fiix’s explosive growth to a whole new level. Our team is growing fast and we’re looking for talented engineers just like you that are hungry to innovate.

Major Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
  • Leads complex application testing that may pose significant functional or technical challenges.
  • Defines test cases and write automation test scripts from requirements to confirm that the system meets business objectives and maintain high-quality application deliverables
  • Analyzes test process improvements, identifies gaps and opportunities to automate existing applications using industry standard and proven practices.
  • Researches, learns, applies and shares information regarding quality assurance and testing tools, techniques, and market trends.
  • Participates in developing new testing tools, knowledge products and standards.
  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Performs audits of processes, maintains and reports specified measures.
  • Understand the application and data variation to provide comprehensive test coverage.
  • Work closely with product manager, software engineers, data engineers and data scientists to make sure that the functional, non-functional requirements are properly addressed and traced in the solution architecture
  • Drive research of industry trends and apply best practices in quality engineering practices used in evolving machine learning techniques.
  • Keep current on new technologies and make recommendations on future direction for quality engineering as well as apply latest techniques and industry information as appropriate

Competencies (Requirements/What We’re Looking For)
  • A fantastic QA engineer with a focus on automation that looks to support their team.
  • You must have at least 5 years’ total testing experience in testing complex software with at least 2 years spent in automation.
  • You are detail oriented and contribute to comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • You are a team player that prioritize and plan testing activities, identify and write actionable bug reports, then verify that issues are resolved.
  • You love to understand how all elements of a system work together.
  • You go beyond obvious testing and have strong exploratory testing skills.
  • Experience with using version control (Git), defect tracking systems (JIRA) and test case management (TestRail).
  • You love to keep up to date with new industry methods and technologies to streamline quality assurance testing to ensure successful delivery.
  • A B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent would be ideal.
  • You’re a self-starter and an analytical thinker with a strong desire to work on a small collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within an Agile environment
  • Experience working with Protractor and Selenium
  • Experience with machine learning application
  • Experience with SQL query

Nice to have
  • Business knowledge in Computerized maintenance management system
  • Basic understanding of machine learning techniques, data structures, algorithms, statistics and experience with ML-based applications.

Education Requirements
  • B.Sc. or above or equivalent
