Your role
You are deeply rooted in the values and strategies of diversity, equity and inclusion. You work to create and enrich our storytelling by deepening connections and ongoing relationships with new and diverse audiences in our community.

  • Ensure that projects conform to CBC program and journalistic standards and practices, as well as ethics related to copyright and advertising standards.
  • Identify and help develop emerging community talent ranging from contributors, to possible backfill, to candidates for staff positions.
  • This includes designing and delivering the station’s internship (called Pathways) program.
  • Support the ongoing development of diverse staff and contributors already in the station.
