About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Product Leader, the Senior Business Analyst – Data maintains and operates the business systems (with a large focus on Salesforce or SFDC) and tools that service Ceridian stakeholders. Focused on the customer lifecycle, they will analyze processes and experiences across a diverse set of functions and help those functions to use the system in the most optimal ways. They will recommend procedures and practices that help functions achieve business objectives.

The Senior Business Analyst - Data is uniquely skilled at engaging with end users and process owners to understand task and objectives. Lead and assist agile product development requirements prioritized by the respective Product Leader, through discussion and collaboration.

What You’ll Get To Do

  • Design and participate in Salesforce Data enhancements and other data initiatives, releases, and end-user acceptance testing
  • Work with stakeholders to identify key KPIs for monitor data trends and communicate important observations
  • Lead gathering user requirements and communicate those requirements through use of mock-ups, storyboards, and process flows
  • Lead process owners in realizing system data enhancements through change plans or control plans
  • Lead the development and communication of best practices and methods for end users to get the most out of available tools
  • Perform train-the-trainer for system utilization and educate stakeholders on benefits of changes and acquire their buy-in
  • Act as a spokesperson and advocate for the business with new capabilities or functionality.
  • Understand processes by mapping and observing as-is functions
  • Quantify the improvement opportunity for enhancements through data and estimates
  • Direct in testing and validation of delivered enhancements and gain user acceptance
  • Find functional similarity in business needs to capitalize on synergies and understand intersecting system functionality to avoid unintended impacts
  • Educate stakeholders on benefits of changes and acquire their buy-in
  • Direct cross functional activity and track that it is completed as scheduled
  • Communicate progress, risks, barriers, and status on a regular basis

Skills And Experience We Value

  • 5+ years of experience and hands-on knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures related to Salesforce systems
  • Successful experience as a business analyst leading large organizations in upgrading/modifying a Salesforce based system
  • Required experience with creating and documenting requirements using Agile and/or other SDLC development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Excel for analyzing data, with PowerPoint and other illustrative software to present concepts and ideas.
  • Prefer experience with developing dashboards and reports.
  • Proven ability to support 100+ end users and process owners through system best practices and procedural documentation.
  • Teaching user how to be self-proficient and use the system appropriately.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and influence at all levels of the organization, tailoring succinct and focused messages to different audiences. Strong written, visual and verbal communication and meeting facilitation skills, proven at all levels from process performer to business leaders.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to direct, lead and collaborate with resources without direct management responsibility. Ability to create and define a plan with little to no prescriptive direction, other than objective. Ability to track and organize tasks and issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Change Management Experience: Proven experience of effectively obtaining users involvement and support. Ability to understand a wide variety of perspectives and articulate what is important to each. Prefer experience in training or assisting end users.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Collaborative Skills: Consultative abilities, sound judgment decision making skills, and ability to work under continual deadline pressure. Demonstrated ability to build rapport, influence and problem solve with various levels of the organization. Able to collaborate, negotiate and persuade, while maintaining positive relationships.

What Would Make You Really Stand Out

  • MBA or Degree in Technology, having a Product Mindset
  • Relevant CRM – Salesforce Data experience in designing and improving sales data processes and user experiences
