Travel Clinic Nurse RPN –Ottawa Downtown

Hours of work: part- time 32 hours / week, Monday - Friday daytime hours

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Travel vaccinations consultations & administration.
• Maintain appropriate cleaning and sanitation protocols.
• Provide nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Be committed to professional practice and personal development.
• Work relatively independently but will also work collaboratively with the clinic team.
• Document and report compliance with the procedures and regulations
• Customer service and relations as appropriate

About you and your skills:

• Must be licensed with CNO, and a member in good standing.
• Must have knowledge of standards of practice, Primary Health Care, and Advanced Knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, and health care management.
• Must have CPR and AED.
• Must have Immunization Certificate .
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to work effectively across multiple professional disciplines.
• Have superior interpersonal, communication and public relations skills.
• Demonstrates excellent critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft office, Word, willing and able to learn new programs.

Experience:

• nursing: 2 year (Required)
• customer service: 1 year (Required)

Education:

• RPN Certificate from accredited Professional licensing body.

Pay: $32-$35 per hour
