SUMMARY
The Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Services Project Coordinator will provide support to operations staff,
ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The role calls for strong organization skills and the ability
to work collaboratively in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contract administration (change orders, correspondence, processes);
  • Work with the team to plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the work;
  • Collects job costs, reconciling for closing; accruals;
  • Support the team by tracking project milestones and financial deadlines;
  • Assist with change order process;
  • Gather and submit required information for daily/weekly field reports (both client and internal);
  • Responding to employee and customer inquiries;
  • Creation and maintenance of electronic filing systems;
  • Track client deliverables/deadlines, ensuring submissions are completed on time as required;
  • Professionally represents the department by building positive and respectful relationships;
  • Other related office duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to thrive in a fast paced environment with firm deadlines

and multiple, concurrent assignments;

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Quick learner and willingness to look for efficiencies;

information.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR CREDENTIALS

  • College Diploma or certification; or relevant training courses and related experience;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a directly related position;

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience on projects, preferably in a construction environment;
  • Experience assisting with or in project management would be an asset;
  • Experience using Microsoft Navision, Sharepoint, Power BI and/or SAP an asset;
  • Experience administering BC Hydro Distribution ROC work would be an asset;
  • Previous work experience in a unionized environment an asset.
