Job Description
Our Federal Government Client is looking for an intermediate Programmer/Software Developer to support their internal initiative to modernize their enterprise architecture on the on-premises and cloud environment.
Tasks
The Programmer/Software Developer will produce reports to integrate the broader systems such as the Data Warehouse, Offender Management System (OMS), Structured Intervention Units (SIU) and Offender Health Information System (OHIS)

• Create custom calculations using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX )queries in PowerBI
• Create Microsoft PowerBI reports and visualizations, based on client requirements
• Create tables, views and transformation logic, from on-premise and Cloud data sources, based on business requirements
• Create source-to-target mappings (source data to PowerBI objects to report elements) based on business requirements.
• Create data models (Entity Relationship Diagrams, Conceptual, normalized) for tables and views
• Ingest tables and views into Microsoft PowerBI software

Qualifications*
Mandatory: *

• Must have a University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing the tasks listed above as a Programmer/Software Developer
• Experience working with the following technologies
• Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
• Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft PowerBI Azure Portal
