We are currently seeking a positive and outgoing Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team in Burnaby. The Parking Enforcement Officer is a mobile position responsible for overseeing the safety and security of parking lots, garages, and parkades.

Schedule:

Three shifts available

• Saturday and Sunday- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Saturday and Sunday- 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
• Saturday and Sunday- 4:30 pm to 1:00 am

Responsibilities:

• Perform monitoring activities to ensure compliance with the posted guidelines at parking facilities and issue notices to vehicles not in compliance
• Greet guests and provide guidance regarding meters, directions, and additional details specific to the lot
• Be a positive ambassador by providing superior customer service and always representing the company with integrity and in good faith
• Respond to customer inquiries and remain courteous whenever assisting parking guests
• Assist with the overall presentation of each area of the facility and passing along concerns
• Proactively assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the parking facilities whenever and wherever required or requested
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of any company vehicles
• Operate company vehicles in a courteous and safe manor
• Treat all equipment with care and as if it were your own
• Report any incidents or deficiencies immediately to Manager or Supervisor
• Complete all forms and reports as specifically directed
• Perform cash collection for machines and deliver to collections facility
• Perform such other duties as the Company reasonably directs from time to time

Employment Requirements

• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Must be capable of walking for extended periods of time as well as occasionally lifting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
