Only applicants located in the Vancouver area or willing to relocate before their start date will be considered.

As Nuke TD, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the internal pipeline by working closely with different CG teams to ensure a common and standardised approach to the workflow, tool development and support.

Responsibilities

• creation of scripts and tools
• create, test and implement new features
• ensure the maintenance and support of internal 2d teams
• help design solutions (tools and workflow) for pipeline improvements and fixes
• work directly with artists to investigate and resolve pressing issues with custom pipeline tools
• Continuously improve the pipeline

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in VFX pipelines
• Experience working with Nuke, RV and Editorial
• Able to work independently as a developer (Python)
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience in the application development cycle using Agile methodologies
• Comfortable with Git version control and Jira ticketing systems

Assets

• Previous experience supporting a CG pipeline using internal software and open source libraries
• TD’s proven track record in animated feature films, animated TV series and / or VFX feature films
• experience using and troubleshooting nuke software
• Comfortable with project tracking software like Shotgun
