The Nature Trust of New Brunswick’s Conservation team is looking for a Conservation Engagement Manager!

Established in 1987, the Nature Trust is a charitable land conservation organization which focuses on conservingand stewardingprivate land and engagingNew Brunswickers about the importance of protecting our province’s unique natural heritage and biodiversity. Currently, the Nature Trust protects over 10,000 acres of ecologically significant land in more than 70 beautiful and diverse nature preserves.

The Conservation Engagement Manager oversees and provides strategic expertise around engagement strategies and projects at the Nature Trust. The core principle of engagement organizing at the Nature Trust is that impact is built by recruiting and mobilizing relationships between and among supporters, reaching a point where your supporters themselves are leading the charge, and are at the ‘top of the engagement ladder’. The Conservation and Engagement Manager is responsible to provide strategic recruitment and mobilization around different Nature Trust supporters and stakeholders.

The Conservation Engagement Manager works closely with each department to assess how to optimize engagement at all levels of the organization.

The Conservation Engagement Manager’s key project focuses are the Fund Development strategy with the priority of maintaining and stewarding the Nature Trust of New Brunswick’s legacy, donor relations, landowner relations, and supporter engagement as well as overseeing the management of the projects and programs associated with these supporter groups. The Conservation Engagement Manager is responsible for managing fundraising, engagement and landowner engagement projects on the ground while utilizing the Nature Trust’s Constituent Relationship Tool (CRM), Salesforce, to maintain and grow partnerships and relationships related to the Nature Trust’s engagement programs.

The Conservation Engagement Manager supervises Conservation Engagement Coordinators, Technicians and Interns.
