As a leader, you will report directly to the vice-president and regional manager. You will be based in the Trois-Rivières branch. You will apply National Bank Financial’s vision, play a key role in managing administration, operations and compliance for your team, and have some human resources responsibilities.
You will collaborate with internal partners and branch employees. You will also be responsible for the client and employee experience.
Finally, your role will include being attentive to your team. You will actively participate in employee coaching as well as professional and administrative development.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth operation of the branch’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions
- Act as contact person for investment advisors and associates
- Manage operations personnel: play a leadership role in performance appraisals/management for operations and administrative employees
- Act as contact person for matters concerning HR policies
- Coordinate and actively participate in the onboarding of new employees
- Act as key contact person for the communication of and support for head office and regional management initiatives
- Keep the branch’s compliance files up-to-date
- Ensure the smooth operation and resolution of the branch’s first-level computer issues
- Coordinate, implement and act as a change agent for special projects initiated by head office or regional management
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree and three years of relevant experience OR University certificate and seven years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the sector
- Recognized financial expertise (processes, products and applications)
- Compliance and change management expertise
- Management experience, an asset
- Experience in a leadership role, coaching and training personnel
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, show initiative and have a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
