Acuren is currently recruiting for Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance projects in Fort McMurray. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Position Information

Reporting to the Division Manager the successful applicant will be responsible to:
  • Oversee mechanical rope access and well as NDE technicians
  • Manage on site client / technician requests
  • Assist in tracking equipment and gear
  • Work with larger Acuren team in order to facilitate any call out work requests.
  • Coordinating required equipment brought to site, walk down of job, and assisting with provide hours for proposal / estimates . Work with administrative assistants in regards to client requirement for documentation.
  • Plan, deliver and promote services that meet client needs in a manner that complies with safety, quality and financial goals
  • Provide strategic solutions to clients that enhance Acuren’s position as a trusted business partner and reduce their costs to operate
  • Ensure Service Excellence & Perform Business Development
  • Provides leadership and organizes work and work assignments within the department and site, integrating various resources (equipment, consumable, and human) to carry out these activities
  • Resolve day-to-day operational issues with staff and customers, and contributes to achieving regional goals
PositionInformation
  • Shift: 14 on 14 off
  • Hours:12hrs/ day
  • Camp based position with Flights from an Alberta hub.
Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of operational experience in an industrial/technical environment 3 years of which is supervisory
  • Experience with the rope access industry
  • Rope access certification considered an asset.
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills to manage difficult customer interactions Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Consistently demonstrates their understanding of, and compliance with, responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, and Acuren Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies and procedures.
