Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate, talented, a Junior Landscape Designer to join our dynamic team. As a key team member, you will work on a variety of high-end residential projects from the conceptual design phase through to construction administration, collaborating with our senior designers, clients, and contractors.

Candidates must be passionate, creative, detail oriented, technically proficient, organized, personable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manipulate detailed 3D models of landscape designs from 2D cad plans
• Prepare presentation drawings (in both 2D and 3D formats) for client meetings
• Producing detailed and realistic 3D renderings from 3D models
• Assist in preparation of construction documents, including plans, construction details, and planting plans
• Stay up to date with software developments, industry trends and best practices in landscape architecture
• Work with senior staff to ensure accurate representation of the designs

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of a Degree in Landscape Design, BLA or MLA
• Minimum of 1 year experience or internship working within a professional landscape architectural office
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up Pro, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in Vectorworks would be considered an asset
• Strong design and visualization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Excellent written, graphic, and oral communication skills
• Understanding and interest in applied design – including knowledge of grading, hardscape materials, construction detailing and plant materials
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
