IT Analyst-Systems (ERP- Finance & Controlling)

Job Summary: Responsible for supporting, monitoring and optimizing the Finance and Controlling (FICO) functionality in the IT supported ERP systems (CMS and associated subsystems); as defined by Global IT Management.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma and bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in finance ERP applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Additional Experience Desired:

• Direct experience with Epicor CMS software FICO applications.
• Detailed knowledge of database structures and query writing abilities.

Essential Functions:

• Proficiency in FICO functions, such as Product Costing, General Ledger and Accounts Payable/Receivable.
• Team member for implementation of ERP at new locations.
• Understand new FICO functionality that is developed in the ERP system. Test this functionality, and provide recommendations on utilization of these new processes.
• Training of FICO key users.
• Understanding of ERP interfaces with other modules to assist in the development of more efficient uses of technology.
• Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

Work Environment:

• Work in office and plant settings. Ability to communicate and work as part of a team to troubleshoot discrepancies and to assist in the implementation of new processes.
• Minimal travel may be required.
