We have an opening for a full time Instrumentation Analytical Specialistin Grande Prairie, AB who will be responsible for supporting our analytical product line. In addition, this position will be responsible for startups, maintenance and technical support of our installed base in Western Canada, while ensuring a safe work environment. This position will report to the Manager of Technical Services and will be required to support our customers in the field and our shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Start-up and commissioning of new process analytical systems
• Field service and repair of installed systems
• Respond effectively to customers’ technical requests/inquiries over the phone
• Work with the sales team as a technical resource
• Provide customer training when required
• Prepare and maintain records and reports
• Support Tundra’s culture and core values
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a service technician role focused on analytical products
• Technical diploma in instrumentation from a recognized post secondary institution
• Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician or working towards your certification is preferred
• Alberta Class 5 Operator’s Licence or equivalent in good standing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Good communication (spoken and written) skills in English is a must
• Detail oriented, highly organized and motivated to succeed
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environment
• Ability to travel out-of-town and perform on-call work
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
