FULL-TIME – MAINTENANCE POSITION
(40 hrs)
STOKES Janitorial & Maintenance is looking for Full-Time Maintenance for the Mississauga and area.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Repair Worker to perform & upkeep tasks, minor repairs, and building maintenance. You must be reliable & can work independently
Job Description:
  • Routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Overseeing & greeting contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and making proper decisions to have them corrected.
  • Performing minor fixes.
  • Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
  • Check functionality & maintenance of safety systems.
  • Report to facilities managers of any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in maintenance & repair areas.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A vehicle is a must.
