About The Role
At NFP, our copywriters are our resident experts on brand voice and company architecture, ensuring that consistently high-quality print and digital communications advance our business’ brand strategy.

We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our Brand Team, collaborating with all levels of internal and external stakeholders in the conception and creation of B2B & B2C marketing content across all lines of NFP Business. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of global marketing professionals that are committed to making a meaningful impact and accelerating NFP’s progress toward shared objectives.

COVID-19 Update: Please note in some locations we’ve activated hybrid plans for some of our offices. Standard operating hours generally remain intact in this environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Copywriting for internal and external initiatives, developing a wide range of compelling print, digital & social media collateral/communications that effectively target designated audiences
  • Rewriting existing content to raise quality and/or translating to French where needed
  • Editing and proofreading of communications/collateral for accuracy, spelling, grammar, style consistency, tone, flow, comprehension, and format
  • Implementing feedback received from stakeholders ensuring that their needs are met/balanced with NFP brand guidelines, strategy, and evolution
  • Provide guidance to junior copywriters and editors, as well as freelancers, when needed
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines within the NFP project management system while performing other related duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills in French and English with an understanding of the nuances of Québécois
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, business, English, or equivalent work experience required
  • Typically, 5+ years of professional bilingual writing and editing experience focused on communicating effectively and creatively with targeted audiences
  • Background in marketing communications preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to nimbly and humbly pivot concerning feedback, urgent incoming work, major projects, etc
  • Well-organized and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • High proficiency in CP style
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Financial services knowledge or experience a plus
