As a colleague in one of our stores, you will have an immediate impact on sales and customer satisfaction by:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Ensuring accurate product scanning
• Executing company-directed promotions and programs
• Maintaining product displays
  
  

Responsibilities:

Communicate receiving policies to all department managers and report concerns to the store manager or assistant store manager

Receive all product from DSD vendors and warehouse in a timely and accurate fashion and maintain invoices

Enforce company policy regarding the proper flow of deliveries through receiving (AWL loads given priority)

Maintain organization and cleanliness of receiving area and the back room

Monitor and maintain power equipment

Physical security of the receiving area

Ensure backroom conditions meet safety and management expectations

Manage visitor tag program

SAP operations (scanning, file maintenance, planograms)

Communicate colleagues and management - work together as a team

Support and encourage a safe work environment for all colleagues

Other Responsibilities As Assigned

Other duties, in other departments, as assigned

Job Qualifications Required:

Education and experience will be considered as part of the screening/interviewing and selection process only

Current Narrow Aisle Operator Certificate, WHMIS holder

DMLCP Certificate, valid First Aid/CPR Certificate an asset

The ability to work independently

Some computer skills would be an asset

Self-motivated, service-oriented team player

Ability to work independently and to maintain strict confidentiality

Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize workload

Strong verbal/written communication, math skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Computer skills; the successful candidate will be required to utilize MS Office, e-mail and applicable software

Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

You must be available for the required shift(s) and be able to lift up to 50lbs depending on the department.
