Automotive Technician

We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
• Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
  

ValleyPro Autohouse was established in Kelowna, BC by Kevin Delaney in September of 2014. Working at a dealership, Kevin had become increasingly concerned with how customers were being treated (almost as if they weren’t human), and the dealership employees were treated just as poorly. This drove him to open an auto repair shop where women feel welcome and respected along with men, and employees feel valued by their employers.

When he started on his own, Kevin was a one-man operation on an acreage of land, and now ValleyPro Autohouse has two locations and 11 employees. Kevin himself now has 30 years of auto repair experience, is Red Seal Certified, and proudly specializes in customer service and German cars. For him, it means the world to be a respected leader because he knows he has earned that respect by treating others well.
