What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills translating technical details for the laymen
  • Passion for automotive and delivering superior customer service
  • Ability to negotiate and sell tactfully, diplomatically and professionally
  • Team player with attention to detail and efficiency
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with the drive to work independently and in a team environment
  • Quick, eager learner and ability to adapt
  • Automotive workshop process and mechanical knowledge an asset
  • Experience with Hyundai an asset
  • Experience with CDK an asset

Your Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and courteously meet and serve customers in person, on the phone, by e-mail
  • Schedule appointments with customers based on shop capacity
  • Determine vehicles needs based on customer information, vehicle age, mileage, and a vehicle walk-around
  • Use a consultative selling process to assist customers in documenting their concerns, diagnosing the required repairs on their vehicle and planning for on-going maintenance
  • Communicating with Technicians and Parts Team to ensure timely completion of work
  • Provide status updates to customers using their preferred method of communication
  • Make best-value repair recommendations based upon nature of the problem
  • Make recommendations for preventative maintenance
  • Document repair orders for customers with full transparency including cost and time estimates
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, take the initiative to resolve problems
  • Acquire product knowledge on an ongoing basis to effectively help customers with vehicle maintenance requirements and warranty information
  • Take ownership and accountability for delivering excellent service quailty and sales results
  • Other duties as needed by the service department
