ARC IBERICO IMPORTS is a small company, growing at a fast pace located in Richmond, BC.

We are one of the leading importers and distributors of Iberian products in Vancouver. With full exclusivity of -Julián Martín- and the recent incorporation of -Cinco Jotas- we supply more than just Iberico ham, we provide an experience.

Our company specializes in Premium Spanish products by bringing it closer to the Canadian consumers through wholesale, retail and our online shop.

For that reason, we offer a great variety of services, being the most acclaimed one; our live carving services as a unique experience in weddings, private dinners/gatherings and other special events. We take care of our guests with the most exquisite encounter they will ever have with Spanish gastronomy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Administrative/Marketing person, capable of multi-tasking and eager to learn in different departments.

The ideal candidate will be a well-balanced and rounded organized individual with a strong desire to learn and grow both personally and professionally. An enthusiastic team player, with a positive work attitude, and a commitment to providing quality service. Dedicated, energetic, positive, fun-loving, and a self-starter, self-initiative and taking charge.

Marketing Support

  • Handling and managing various marketing services providers, advertising agencies, social media agencies/partners to provide timely and good quality services
  • Planning and managing all marketing activities including but not limited to meeting with related parties, propose and follow timelines.
  • Coordinating the content (Chinese and English) for social media including posts, videos, and stories in various marketing channels .
  • Handling email marketing - Mailchip (Chinese and English).
  • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
  • Maintaining and updating content of company website in a timely manner (Chinese and English)
  • Responsible for the daily ARC IBERICO IMPORTS products Weibo and Wechat platforms’ maintenance and update.

Qualifications

  • Degree in business or communications is preferred. Minimum of two years of related experience in marketing.
  • Experience working in a similar role within a marketing team in a similar organization
  • Demonstrated experience in design and graphics production; proficiency with Adobe Creative software, Hootsuite, WordPress, Google AdWords and more is an asset.
  • Good understanding of social media and in-tune with social trends with the ability to capitalize on those opportunities
  • Prior experience using social media for branding and marketing a plus
  • Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing/coordinating traditional and digital markets assets and website content.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal communication and copy writing skills in Chinese and English.
  • More than 1 year of media experience publishing content on WeChat or Weibo, new media experience is preferred, and text editorial experience is preferred.

We prefer candidates with experience and knowledge of:

  • Shopify tech ecosystem, including intimate knowledge of Shopify Plus.

  • Customer focused: a friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in providing excellent customer service.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree in related field (communications, marketing, administration, sales)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant support experience in a marketing, events or an appropriate sales environment would be ideal.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, with competency using advanced features of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google business)
  • Social media competency.
  • Spanish speakers not required but an asset
  • Chinese speakers are required for this position
  • Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
