Export Documentation and A/R Invoicing – 70%

  • Prepare bulk vessel A/R invoices and issue for approval.
  • Facilitate collection of all necessary export documentation as required for each bulk shipment.
  • Coordinate distribution of Export documentation package upon each vessel sailing.
  • Review and approve COA specification against each contracted specification.
  • Raise questions or concerns if applicable.
  • Provide support to the Sales & Logistics management team on various export tracking data metrics.
  • Organize samples for product requests as needed.
  • Support Director of Sales to execute customer orders, upload orders into the sales system, including specifications of SKU’s, amount, timing, pricing for each line item.
  • Support team to manage customer relationships with export documentation.
  • Working with Corp Finance communication with on customer payment receipts

Logistics & Sales Support – 30%

  • Liaise with Domestic Territory manager on bulk and totes sales, assist in production planning and local logistics as needed.
  • Assist with data analysis and charting sales metrics.
  • Assist with plant sites on inventories, shipping, loading, and timing.
  • Maintain internal CRM module.
  • Coordination and daily liaison with Territory Manager to assist in domestic logistics/freight trucking as required with focus on ensuring the lowest cost and on time delivery of product.
  • Understand Pinnacle’s geographical market in relation to optimizing cost and logistics.
  • Support Sales Director to forecast both short- and long-term domestic sales opportunities by monitoring market and policy changes, with seasonal expectations, which could bring new value or revenue opportunities to Pinnacle.

Minimum Requirements (Experience, Education, Qualifications, Skills, Abilities)

  • Minimum of 2 years Business Administration experience, preferably in the wood products or renewable resource industry, or related experience in fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.
  • 2 years accounting experience would be beneficial, and preference give to applicants with this experience.
  • Completed Diploma/Bachelors Sales, Business Administration, Commerce or related from a recognized institution would be preferred.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail documentation analysis.
  • Ability to react in different situations and problem solve
  • Effective business systems thinker and a good understanding of business process knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with others in a diverse environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Strong stakeholder management focus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with personal computers and business applications (graph/chart)
