The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Maintenance department through maintenance, purchasing and inventory control systems to support efficient maintenance and plant operations.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

  • Physically receive, put away and perform goods receipts for all parts in the system (SAP PM)
  • Review and complete all Workflow Management requirements within SAP PM
  • Complete reports for the weekly depletion, obsolete and slow moving parts
  • Maintain an orderly storeroom, locating parts for team members as needed
  • Review and follow-up on purchase orders with items on backorder
  • Complete parts kitting and staging, as well as returns to vendors
  • Cycle counting reports and reconciliation, including annual inventory cycle count
  • Process and resolve AP invoice issues
  • Maintain the equipment’s BOM (Bill of Materials) list in SAP PM program
  • Maintain approved chemical list for the maintenance department and conduct annual review of the program
  • Maintain data records for all purchases and deliveries for C3 compliance
  • Participate in various six sigma projects to improve efficiency of department

What You’ll Bring:

  • Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with all employees and work in a team-based environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Office and with maintenance inventory management systems. SAP experience would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
