Your Impact & Responsibilities
  • Take complete ownership of assigned customer accounts from a technical perspective
  • Show a sense of urgency to progress service restoration and problem resolution
  • Reproduce customer reported issues and work with internal teams to provide a resolution
  • Manage customer expectations and be able to communicate action plans at a high level
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting skills on all Check Point products and technical knowledge in industry standard-based technologies
  • Document phone and e-mail communications for the entire troubleshooting process
  • Write and present weekly and quarterly reports to customers, management, and peers
  • Up to 20% global travel to customer sites as needed
Your Knowledge & Skills
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to work global shift 24 x 5 including APAC and EMEA shifts
  • 3+ years of experience working in the network security field
  • Must be able to troubleshoot all layer 1-4 network issues, dynamic routing and related technologies
  • Good understanding of enterprise network protocols
  • Experience providing technical support to direct customers, resellers, and field personnel
  • Understand how to analyze packet captures using tcpdump and Wireshark
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Linux based operating systems
