We are seeking a dynamic individual to play an internal consulting role in planning and implementing change initiatives to support the organization’s strategic and annual business objectives. This will be done by providing support to management in the areas of business and strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with senior and business unit leaders regarding improvement opportunities, options, and implementation strategies.
  • Provide consulting support on planning and implementing change initiatives.
  • Provide consulting support on corporate level, cross-functional projects from start to finish: set up and organize projects, identify issues, establish objectives, process, participation and timeframes.
  • Assist business units/departments with the annual strategic planning process along with developing key performance measures for identified priorities and actions.
  • Facilitate business process improvement and reengineering initiatives through process mapping, analysis, process redesign, and measurement.
  • Develop and manage internal and external surveys, including data analysis, visualization and reporting on key organizational metrics.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years in a consulting role, whether internally within an organization or professional services environment.
  • Experience in organizational development, performance measurement, change management, process reengineering/process modeling, data analysis and visualization, strategic and business planning, survey development and facilitation.
  • Familiar with change management principles and strategies, along with demonstrated project work in managing complex, large scale change initiatives.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative and project independence, by drawing on past project experience and/or conducting leading practice research to inform project planning and approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and provide exceptional customer service is essential.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills as well as strong problem solving, decision-making and planning skills.
  • Superb critical thinking skills and the ability to think strategically “big picture” as well as considering the finer details.
  • Great leadership skills including laterally amongst peers and effectively engaging with senior management and executives.
  • A degree, preferably in business or social sciences.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet is necessary.
  • Proficiency with Visio, data visualization tools and surveys is beneficial.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
  • Equivalencies may be considered.

Salary:
Salary Grade 12

Start Rate: $81,888 to Job Rate: $96,324

Note:
Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at the Corporate Development Advisor position. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security clearance.
