We also offer company paid uniforms and part-time and flexible schedules!As an Account Manager at Allied Universal, the Account Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including management and professional development of security personnel. The Account Manager will build, improve, and maintain relationships with clients and employees: develop and retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. This role is responsible for meeting or exceeding financial and operational goals; provide quality customer service. The Account Manager maintains or oversees maintenance of weekly operating schedules, completion of payroll for assigned security personnel and provides after-hour emergency response as required.Account Manager - Temporary Contract (Oct 2022-Oct 2023 - 1 Year) - this position is temporary with the possibility of an extension and may lead to permanent placement.This is a salaried position at the hourly rate of $33.88 per hour, working 40 hours per week at Shell Scotford.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesFollowing are the duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned.Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client siteManage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll,training, coaching, development, and supportEnsure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and propertyBuild, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client and employeesCoordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial andoperational goals and provide quality customer serviceAssure regular communication of issues or program with clientHandle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriatelyOther Management Responsibilities As Determined By LeadershipCommunicate staffing needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring qualitycandidatesDevelop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling,disciplining, MSO training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, asrequired) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.)Assure communication of policies, company announcements and job openings through a consistently updatedREAD file at each siteMeet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtimeCoordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training, client-specific training, and annual refresher trainingfor security personnel, as well as meet Allied Universals corporate training standardsDevelop / maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific OPM and post orders are always availablefor emergency reference by the security staffManage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriateinventories and maintenance checklistsTake a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting his needs; meet with regularly, listen toissues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfactionCapably utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing, and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, invoiceAging by tiers, Training Summary and Training Detail reports) that require interpretation and action for effectivebusiness managementEnforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in the handbooks, executive memos and on the portalBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
