Job Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced deskside support tech who can work independently and within a deskside support team.
  • Tech will be resolving Remedy tickets for operating system and application support, as well as installations, adds, moves, & changes.
  • Tech must have a working knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware, software support, print drivers, and basic application support.
  • Maintains, analyses, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and peripherals
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Identifies, analyzes and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks
  • On-site software support
  • Repair of high-end printers and multi-function devices
  • Hardware repair and software restoration at server component level
  • Network device replacement/configuration
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Candidate should have experience with Preventative Maintenance initiatives
  • Candidate should display a high level of competency for time management and ticket handling
  • Candidate should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Deploy equipment (including computers, displays, keyboards, printers, hand-held scanners, and other peripheral devices)
  • Deliver paper / ribbons / toner and reload if required, responding to print incidents;
  • Perform preventive maintenance of client’s assets (including inspection, basic testing, adjustments, cleaning, upgrading software/firmware, and arrange repair as necessary)
  • applications/laptop/desktop support.
  • Image Laptops, Schedule Customer Appointments, Remote Access with customers to confirm full functionality of the device being deployed.

Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, 3 years technical experience and CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.

Required skills that candidates must have:

  • Windows OS & Application Support, Dell Laptop/Desktop imaging and hardware experience
  • Provide general IMAC services for client’s assets Expectations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Desktop support: 3 years (preferred)
  • Computer hardware: 3 years (preferred)
  • Network installation: 2 years (preferred)
  • Software troubleshooting: 2 years (preferred)
  • IT support: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CompTIA A+ (preferred)
