Essence Cabinets is currently seeking for Swamper/Driver to join our team in Edmonton

Main Functions: The Swamper/Driver will assist the primary driver in loading and unloading cabinets safely while adhering to the delivery schedule and serve as the alternate driver.

Duties:

· Delivering products to customers

· Planning route and time schedule

· Loading, unloading, preparing delivery vehicles

· Completing delivery logs and reports

· Ensuring inventory loads match delivery documents

· Inspecting and maintaining vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues as required

· Ensuring that company safety rules, policies and procedures are followed

· Work closely with other departments to ensure products needed for customer orders are delivered on a timely basis

· Driving a 5 ton truck and park on site

· Other related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

· Previous equivalent experience in a construction, manufacturing environment

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an excellent ability to convey concepts, ideas and issues to team members

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to changing priorities

· Highly motivated and self-driven

· Full, Non-GDL Class 5 Driver’s Licence (Graduated Drivers License is Not Acceptable)

· Clean driver’s abstract

Minimum Education:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
