Overall Purpose Of Job

The main objective is to lead projects driving process optimization, cost improvement, and value creation initiatives that contribute to continued success of RTO and Deliver Canada.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The RTO Analyst Co-op will work in partnership across multiple functions including Transportation, Customer Service and/or DC operations on various opportunities that include:
  • Creating and maintaining scorecards, metrics and dashboards in Power BI
  • Using advanced analytics and knowledge of systems connectivity to automate processes
  • Conducting detailed analytics on transportation activity and cost to drive insights and savings
  • Supporting daily transportation operations as required
  • Adhoc requests as required

Special Requirements
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Candidate must be able to work full time (37.5 hrs./wk.) during the Co-op term

Other Features Of The Job

During the Covid crisis, the role will be primarily remote; however, there is the expectation of 2-3 days in office if the Covid situation improves.

Qualifications

Essential knowledge and skills:
  • Candidate must have completed two years of undergraduate studies towards a bachelor’s degree in
  • Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics or Business, IT/programming.
  • Full proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau or other analytics tools.
  • Experienced in programming with preference for SQL and Alteryx.

  • Strong analytical / quantitative skills both with processes and data.
  • Must be a self-started with ability to work independently but also work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills and leadership qualities required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and meeting timelines.
