The Opportunity:

Are you a network professional with a passion for project management and technical problem solving? As a Network Analyst at Canadian Natural you will support both the IS and business units with specific networking support, troubleshooting and projects. Using your technical expertise, business acumen and ability to influence as a key member of the network team you will be instrumental in delivering consistent and reliable network services to Canadian Natural’s 10,000 staff across the world.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design, install and support highly available LAN, WAN and WLAN
• Oversee the design and configuration of our national and international multi path networks
• Configure and support remote access gateways and load balancing
• Design and support Radio Line Of Sight networks
• Design, configure and manage multiple data centre technologies
• Provide escalation support for all network support analyst issues

• Job location: Calgary, Alberta
• This role participates in the on-call rotation
• Occasional travel is required

Skills & Qualifications:

• University degree or college/technical diploma
• 15+ years of network experience preferably in the oil and gas industry
• CCIE certification preferred
• Previous experience with:
  • Cisco Routing & Switching, wireless controllers, Meraki wireless solutions
  • CWDM & Gigamon
  • Citrix ADC/Netscalers
  • OSPF, BGP, Multicast, MPLS, VPN, IPSEC, VRF.
  • Radio Backhaul Systems (Redline, Cambium, DragonWave and Aviat)
