We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technologistto join our team in

Sydney, Nova Scotia. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic individualto work in

a positive, innovative, and fast pasted environment.

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Perform mechanical design and 3D Computer Automated Design (CAD)

• Source Equipment and Parts
• Perform stress and other engineering analysis
• Process Development (concept/hypothesis through modelling)
• Operate shop equipment (lathe, mill, welder etc.) as well as unique manufacturing

equipment

• Some CNC Programming
• Manage timelines and deadlines for projects involved in and ensuring accurate

documentation is maintained

• Various other duties related t the development of unique new manufacturing

equipment

Skills:

• 3D CAD
• Basic Engineering mathematics and analysis
• Basic Machining (Manual and CNC)
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn new things and adopt new technology.
• Ability to think on your feet and take initiative.
• Attention to detail.
• Work according to company culture and values, prioritize ruthlessly, use good

communication, and deliver results effectively.
