We’re looking for a Logistics Solutions Specialist -hybrid or 100% work from home.

My client, an industry leader, is currently looking to add aLogistics Solutions Specialist to their high performing team. The Logistics Solutions Specialist will be responsible for improving the performance and efficiency of day to day operations for high profile key accounts. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong background in carrier sourcing, particularly in LTL, reefer/temperature controlled freight, and specialty equipment.

Logistics Solutions Specialist responsibilities:

• Load management (order, pickup and delivery)
• Problem solving with Key Stakeholders and Team Members
• Provide market knowledge and analysis (rates, service level, lanes)
• Tracking and tracing
• Identify opportunities for improvement in service or costs
• Follow up and escalate on unresolved issues with Manager and Team Members
• Provide logistics solutions and superior customer service to designated clients

The successful candidate has:

• Post-Secondary Education in Transportation, Logistics or related
• 3-5 years’ experience with asset and non-asset base
• Good knowledge of carriers
• Excellent computer skills – Word & Excel
• Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal
• Ability to build positive relationships with co-workers and clients
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing critical deadlines
• Experience with customs documentation and cross border procedures
• Bilingual is a plus

Compensation and benefits:

• The discussed salary range is $60,000-65,000 depending on experience
• Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
