Our Broader Public Sector client is looking for a Junior Business Analyst for a 10 month contract.

This junior Business Analyst with work along side our Project Manager, our vendor and internal Workstream Leads to assist with general project management administration as well as support the project leads through prioritizing and updating documentation during the testing and go-live readiness stages of our program. The main tasks will be to understand the business requirements, assist the Project Manager with project scheduling and tracking needs, support the project team through testing phases, and assist with ensuring process documentation is updated in preparation for go-live. The position is available immediately and is expected to be required until June 2022.

We are looking for a junior Business Analyst who can support the remainder of our HRMS program as we move into the testing phases of our program. The ideal candidate:

• Will have some experience with a large ERP solution in the cloud. Human Resource Management implementation experience would be considered a strong asset.

• Has the ability to work independently to complete assigned responsibilities.

• Has worked with and is able to collaborate with both business and technology teams.

• Has experience with supporting project teams through the UAT and go-live readiness.

• Has the ability to update documentation bases on testing outcomes.

• Has knowledge of Azure DevOps or other project tracking tools.

• Experience with SAP HRMS (SuccessFactors) is a benefit.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

Coordinating and participating in processes test sessions including monitoring completion status and bug management.

Assist project leads in reviewing and updating process documentation based on changes during testing.

Update and track project tasks, actions and risks in Azure DevOps, Excel, SmartSheet etc.

Assist the project manager and project coordinator with various administration needs.

Participate in testing and training sessions and assist minutes and follow-up actions.

Effectively communicate with a cross-functional team members and various levels of management.

Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful summaries and reports.

Qualifications

Business Analyst Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in HR, business, information technology or related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis and quality analysis testing.

• Experience with using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops for project tracking and traceability, would be desirable.

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• Excellent documentation skills.

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

• A track record of following through on commitments.

• Excellent time management skills.
