The Inventory Control Coordinator will focus on the preparation, submission and management of parts orders, inventory and returns. This is a 12-month contract in our central Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) located at 10 Driver Road, Brampton. There may be an opportunity for full time employment in a similar role or other vacancy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manually run price updates for non-Navistar programs.
  • Run system price updates in CDK business system for all dealerships (14).
  • Submit corporate Special Price Adjustments (SPAs) and requests with Navistar.
  • Create Warehouse Auto Ship Program (WASP) parts transfers for all locations.
  • Submit Fleet Guard monthly parts rebates for all locations.
  • Please direct ship and stock and emergency orders for Brampton (PDC) location and other Rush Truck Centres (RTCC) locations as required.
  • Assigned key accounts – to create invoices, place orders, review back orders and special requests, run Special Order Reports (SOR) report and populate with current estimated time of arrivals/to fill (ETA’s).
  • Review receiving reports, print vendor invoices, process invoices for accounts payable.
  • Follow up with vendors on all back orders.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Truck or automotive dealership experience is preferred.
  • Competency in the following areas required; customer service, administrative skills, time management, inventory management.
  • Proficiency with software and computers required - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel required.
