The Role

Think Research is seeking a full time Human Resources Administrator to support our busy team! The right candidate for this role is a quick learner, self-motivated, and organized. We are looking for someone who can help keep our fast-paced and radically shifting environment well-organized and running smoothly.

You Will Have The Opportunity To:

Office Services

  • Welcoming guests in a warm professional manner, in line with our company culture and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
  • Liaise with Property Management, building maintenance and security to ensure a smooth running office
  • Diligently respond to phone, email and in-person inquiries - both to clients and team members
  • Monitor COVID-19 safety protocols such as cleaning, in-office requests/sign-in etc
  • Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs and maintaining equipment inventories
  • Ensure that the general office space is tidy and presentable daily as well as identifying any issues and working to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Overseeing office calendar, booking and rearranging rooms for meetings when requested
  • Provide refreshment and light catering service to clients during meetings
  • Responsible for organizing all mail and shipping
  • Maintain travel booking process and liaise with supplier

HR

  • Full HRIS system and file management
    • Coordinate and administer activities, while ensuring meticulous accuracy, related to new hires, changes and departures, following up with managers on outstanding documentation in a timely manner.
    • Conduct bi-annual reviews and audits of all HR documentation for employees and consultants to ensure all information is up to date and accurate.
  • Run regular reporting of HR KPI’s to assist in driving strategic objective and initiative effectiveness
  • Be one of our go-to people for any questions related to our policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Assist with the administration of confirmations of employment, employment changes, employment agreements, etc.
  • Provide recruitment support as required:
    • Processing and organizing references
    • Processing background checks
    • On-boarding of new employees
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives
  • Collection and tracking of company goals/performance review

What You Will Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in an HR/Office Administration based role
  • Meticulous organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self starter with the ability to prioritize
  • High level of discretion and judgment when dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to accuracy and detail
  • Intermediate level computer skills (capable of utilizing G Suite, Word & Excel daily)
