This position will oversee the planning and development of Surrey’s 6 unique communities and support the growth of the region’s second metropolitan area. This includes being an integral part of key initiatives like the realization of the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain expansion and the delivery of key land use plans for communities like Semiahmoo Town Centre and City Centre.The General Manager, Planning & Development will also play a key part in fostering one of "Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures", where more than 4000 City employees have made it their mission to serve its community to improve the quality of life for everyone.
