GNB Restoration is seeking a motivated, hard-working individual to join our growing team as a drywall installer/finisher. This is an exciting role for anyone who has knowledge and experience in construction work, with opportunities for career advancement within GNB Restoration.

This is a full-time, permanent position paying a wage of $25-35/hour based on skill and experience.

This skilled craftsman would ideally have a variety of different construction improvement skills to support the growth of our business. GNB Restoration is a locally owned and operated company dedicated to excellent customer service and quality work.

Responsibilities

The Drywall Finisher performs and coordinates the cutting, taping, sanding and installation of drywall during the construction, remodelling or repair in a residential and light commercial setting. The candidate must be proficient in working with all drywall hand tools, and mechanical tools required to complete their work. You must have experience as a Drywall Finisher, and you must have a positive attitude.

• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster using trowels, floats, brushes and spraying equipment.
• Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
• Ability to texture and refinish plaster services
• Ability and willingness to work on new walls and ceilings, and repair existing walls..
• Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects..
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer.

Requirements

• Must have a valid G-class driver’s license.
• Must have strong knowledge of and experience in the general contracting industry.
• Must have good work ethic and be highly motivated.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work well in a team.
• Must have a smartphone and access to the internet.

Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

• drywall finisher: 3 years (preferred)

Language:

• Greek or Albanian (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• G-class Driver’s License (required)
