The Job
Our office in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a BIM Modeler to assist with designing buildings and providing technical support to our structural projects in areas such as Life Sciences, Tech, Civic, Education, Mixed-use, and Healthcare.
Here are the details of your duties in this role:
  • Assist with developing drawing sets, plans and details with Engineers
  • Provide guidance to Engineers for detail development
  • Develop and co-ordinate construction documents
  • May act as a coordinator on projects
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you need to meet the following basic requirements:
  • Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture/Engineering or Construction
  • 2+years of structural drafting experience and a minimum of 1 year experience with Revit Structure
  • A solid amount experience creating construction documents using a variety of construction types and building uses.Concrete High Rise, Steel framing, Load Bearing Masonry, Wood Framing, using Revit
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work with design team and work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work with the design team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work overtime when required
